INTERNET MARKETING

I am in the process of building my first website which will be marketing a physical product, namely jewellery. I am considering using Open Source Shopping Cart Software.
Does anyone have an opinion as to a suitable version of such software.
I should say that I am fairly new to this Forum and any help would be very much appreciated.

ZenCart is cool. There are other good ones too but it's
been in opensource development for a long time and is
very full-featured for selling shippable products.

Take a look at osCommerce (osCommerce, Open Source Online Shop E-Commerce Solutions), most cPanel hosts with fantastico support provide a version you can install directly from your control panel. Plenty of support too.

Me personally I like Mals Ecommerce.

Not exactly open source but free and also has affiliate management.

I prefer CRELoaded which is an improvement from oscommerce. I have try oscommerce before but later decided to use CRELoaded. I have been using it for years now.
