hello everyone
I have weight loss plan which helps people to lose weight with motivation. People gave very good reviews about my product. I took the reviews from some real people who are trying to lose weight. They found it very valuable and they started following it to lose weight.

I have 568 unique visitors, 1,304 pageviews, average visit duration is 1 mint and 9 seconds. the secreen shot is attached.

I got only 1 sign up during this period and no sale.
I used adwords for search network and one other paid service. The traffic is highly targeted.

1)the inpage analytics shows that people are clicking on twitter follow button and people are following me on twitter that is good sign but they are not signing up for give away nor purchasing:-(

2)In analytics, visitor flow is showing strange behavior of visitors.

1st interaction: home page
2nd interaction: to the signup page which appears as the result of exit popup
3rd interactionn: they appear back to home page without signing up
4th interaction: and again they back to the signup page after popup appear and then they leave without completing any action

Note: only few people leave in 2nd interaction. this flow continues untill people leave the site in their 7th and 8th interaction

3) people are repinning and retweeting about my product

now please after visiting my site please address the problem

I want to know why visitors are behaving like that?
Why is there no sale and sign up. Please advice where is the problem and how can i improve it.. for traffic please check the secreen shot.

what is a good average visit duration in this niche?

I think there are normally almost no sales in this niche without sign-ups? It's not my niche, but that's certainly what people doing well in it tell me.

I think there are no sign-ups because your box is in the wrong place, not prominent enough, and not clearly explained/incentivized.

"Sign Up For 4 Free e-books" is inappropriate wording to be using. "Sign Up" is bad, for a start - that marketers' wording has very negative connotations to customers. And you need to explain clearly what the e-books are and what benefits people will get from them.

Offering one e-book will probably work better than offering four, too. It doesn't come across as "desperate" and devalue what you're offering.

In my opinion, you'll get far more people signing up (and more returning visitors, too) if you take away the unpleasant exit pop-up, move the opt-in box from the bottom to the top of your home page and incentivize it prominently with appropriate wording explaining clearly the benefits of what you're offering in exchange for the reader's email address.

Try all that? With one sign-up and no sales from 586 visitors, you have nothing to lose, anyway?

thanx smith for your advice. it is really helful.... You pointed out very good mistakes. I am not expert in IM... I am just trying to learn everytime. And i knew 586 visits is not enough to draw a result. I am just trying to know that am I going in the right direction... I know I need to improve.. I always like to improve...
thanx for recommendations about popup and sign up 4 page... I will try it

at homepage... for first optin box... shuold i add more benefitts and just highlight it by making font bold?

If I was you I would focus not on selling from your site and only sell from your email. In other words continue to build your list and use the site for free content and ask them if they would like more like what you offered them on your site then make sure to sign up for my Daily weight loss tips of what works now.

Test the headline to your optin to what works best.

Thanx Tac... I will work on it

Give it a good headline and some bullets about the content in the ebooks
don't say anything about e-books or free
get rid of "Your email address will NEVER, EVER sell, rent or give away to anyone"
make the submit button say something like "register"
thanx jason for your recommendations.. they are helpful

A Headline, few sentences, and a handful of bullets.. this formula has consistently worked for me.

And as soon as I mention 'free', or 'ebook', etc, conversions start to drop.. add the "we hate spam" stuff, and conversions again drop.

Just my experience / 2 cents

BUT - I don't normally do this in conjunction with a sales letter. It get's trickier in my opinion when you have 2 separate calls to action you are concentrating on, regarding separate products. You might want to consider separating your email list building efforts from your sales page.

This is all great advice and I agree. I think you're better off sending them to a squeeze page and collecting their emails. Then introduce them to the product site in an auto responder series designed to warm them up.

Then push them to the payment page after you've given them sufficient reason to buy.

First, I would think twice about those before and after photos. I noticed a few of them on other sites.

Second, I recommend making the sales page cleaner and easier on the eyes by decreasing the amount of colors to just a few, centering subheadings, decrease bookmark icons to just and perhaps decreasing the page width a little.

Third, I would make the top of your site more quicker and easier to understand. There's way too much stuff happening up top and it could potentially either confuse or turn people off.

Fourth, I would get a better ebook cover and structure your sign up box to be more attention grabbing.

*Disclaimer* This is just my opinion based off of what has worked for me.

            Hope that helps.

After I visited the website, it seems hard to find the opt-in box to sign up. There is also too much content on there if you are trying to collect opt-ins. Squeeze pages are supposed to be short because the main purpose is to collect email addresses. It seems that the page is combining a sales letter with a squeeze page when they should be separate. The ebook graphics look a bit unprofessional. I think your sales would improve if you had higher quality ebook covers.

Well, if you cannot seel, you can use an opt-in form or CPA offers. You can also try using a different tracking software of develop your own product.

Okay, am I reading things wrong or are you actually telling people to leave if they've gained weight??

    "Yes" - > Please Leave"

You should explain what all the benefits they get from E book like 'How these people improved their weight loos using my tips' etc and Squeeze page type landing pages work better to convert potential visitors to sign up your opt-in list.

It could have been targeted, but they may have come to the site with "free info or product" expectations. Targeted means they come to your site with the intent to purchase today or sometime in the future.

thanx for everyone. I found everyone very helpful here... i took your recommendations seriously and will make changes accordingly by separating sales page and squeeze page... After implementing the changes, the result i will get, i will post it here again... thanx again..

I need a little more advice...

Should I remove optin completely from the home page and take it to the exit page by making an improvement or should i also give as an option to the home page and make improvement by changing optin heading and make it more prominent?

    thanx in advance

For your initial question, i wouldn't leave an option to say Yes and make them leave. You want everybody that visits your page to be a potential buyer and make them believe they need your product.

For the rest it looks quite ok..

You should change your site layout first at home page Place video instead of click here to see life changing video and add a big and eye catching email subscription form below it and also make your ebook cover little professional instead of that ugly cartoons. You need to change your site design try searching on internet some best templates and also add some heading on home page

Far too much going on on that page, opt in box is hidden in among clutter, it looks like a combination of sales page and an opt in page and a blog rolled into one, looks a little cheap and amateurish too.

You need to decide if you want that page to be a sales page or a squeeze page. It shouldn't be both.

I think you really need to learn how to write copy, this could be why your opt-in rate is so low. If you don't have the time to do this (which I didn't either) what I did was go to popular niches in my blog, look up their opt-in forms and use their formats with my own copy.

    Hope this helps your conversions
