Does anyone here sell memberships on Ebay?

I was wondering if anyone does, or if it is even allowed to sell memberships subsriptions on ebay.

I am in the works of setting up a site and the main keyword doesnt have many results on ebay and most of the items seem very cheap and scammy. So I think it could do well. Plus i Know people are searching for it, its just that there isnt much you can market to it...except support like a memberhsip site.

So has anyone else done this? How well did it work?

    I have not tried selling memberships on eBay yet, but for less than $10 you could throw up an eBay classified ad for 30 days and test it out.

    eBay customers are usually looking for a "deal", so offer a slight discount to the normal membership price or a "special trial" intro price to eBay shoppers.

      Cool i never thought of the classified ads to advertise it. Do you know if a classified ad is just a linking page from ebay to the site or will they have to pay thru ebay?

      I am just wondering how i will give them there membership if they arent paying through my default merchant account.

      Thanks though i am going to put up a classified ad tomorrow i will let everyone know how it goes.

    You can put a full sales page on a classified ad and you can link to your order/payment page. The payments do not go through eBay's system.

      sorry I am getting a bit backed up. I probably wont be launching my membership site till the end of the year (lots of things to get done!).

      But I will post back when I get it going and get a chance to try the ebay classified ads test.

    Nope I have never heard of that before. I guess I need to brush up on my eBay skills.

    Sounds interesting though. I know that people are selling e books on DVD format now and cashing in that way.
