Bad feedback on Fiverr?

I have been on Fiverr for the past few months and have reached level 2 seller status. I had many gigs and consistently received 100% ratings on all my gigs. On one of them however, I received one negative review (I tried contacting the buyer and he wouldn't respond) and now that gig is at 86% and overall I am at 97% positive. My sales have been near nill since that review (from ALL my gigs) from multiple gigs a day before. Is there anyway I could get rid of that feedback? (He won't respond). Would deleting that gig make my overall go back up to 100%? Thanks

Deleting the gig wont help in overall percentage.

Tell the buyer that you will refund his fund if he removes the -ve rating.

Yeah, I would keep trying to contact the buyer and do whatever you can to make them happy and remove the negative review. Sorry to hear about that! It can be difficult to recover from negative reviews!

Promise the buyer to redo the work to his/her satisfaction or balance the money.

Unfortunately, may just be stuck with the negative review.

... welcome to the wonderful world of Fiverr.

If the buyer will not respond, there is probably nothing you can do.

I doubt Fiverr Customer Support would be willing to do anything about the negative review if there is nothing "suspect" about it. And the buyer not responding after the fact probably does not qualify as suspect.

i used to love fiverr now it sucks. people have you wait 3-4 days sometimes a week then at the end they cancel your gig and you cant leave them feedback. this has been happening to me alot lately. especially annoying since i resell gigs so really throws me off

If you received negative feedback on fiverr and it wasn't your fault, contact fiverr and explain to them why you believe the negative was unjustified. If they agree with you, they might remove it.

I know how you feel. I had the same experience last year, but decided to leave the comment there - I think the guy who left a comment was doing a similar gig to me and wanted to play that game.

I know that your gigs will be effected as Fiverr is quite keen on this feedback ratings.

Solution; Contact the buyer and keep your messages and then show Customer Services the copies of these messages. You might be lucky and get it deleted.

If the feedback is legit, prob nothing you can do. If you strongly feel you provided the service in time exactly as you described it, and the buyer is not responsice, or will not explain what is wrong, contact support.

I run a few very successful gigs on Fiverr. Got 1 negative feedback one time... thought fair enough, can't please everyone. Then a week later I was researching my competition, and saw that the same buyer was leaving the same negative feedback word for word on many many of my peers/competitors. I think they were trying to make space for themselves and their gig via a different account using negative reviews!

Contacted support right away, and they sided with me.

You never know unless you try.

Guess this happens more often than I though. I.M. is a shady business sometimes.

Only the buyer can change that review, I know it can be annoying and some users set up accounts to deliberately destroy other vendors ratings as their proper accounts sell the same services.

If you suspect this then contact Fiverr as they will be able to check their history and if they constantly give negatives will close their account and restore your rating, but only do this if you are suspicious, try and convince the buyer to change and even offer the service to be redone if possible.

Some people have too much to do. Some people aren't just sitting on fiverr all day. I'm sure some sellers on fiverr have day jobs too and then they have to come home and work on their fiverr projects. I'm not sure why people are cancelling your order though unless you are being too demanding. If people have their deadline set for 3-4 days (or more) then you have to give them that amount of time to finish it. Otherwise, you should find someone who can do the same thing in less time (shorter deadline). If you are willing, you can tell your seller when it is getting close to the deadline that if they need one more day, you will be able to only give them one more day. Since you are reselling on fiverr (which I'd like to know how you do that since it costs $5 to get a gig and you only actually get $4 when someone buys a gig from you, unless you are offering gig extras that will make up for it, in which case you are doing half the work for twice as much money, in which case, your buyers aren't doing good research themselves to find a better deal on fiverr, lol). Anyway, since you are reselling on fiverr, that is something you will have to work with. Maybe you should extend your deadline to detract from the problem of the sellers taking too long.

I got a negative feedback too. What I would do is message that person each day. He responded shortly about once a week, not really giving me anything to work with. But I gave him 3 other services as options I could do for him to make up for the dissatisfaction he had from my delivery.

Finally, when we came to an agreement that he would change the negative feedback to positive before I would do the extra service we agreed upon, I said to him, "If it is too late for you to change the negative feedback yourself, simply send a message here saying, 'I would like my negative feedback changed to positive thumbs up on Order #kjsdfhkjd [enter real order number of course].'"
That is what finally worked for me because the guy was too lazy, and after time passes buyers can't change their feedback. So it was easy for him to just copy paste what I wrote and click send.

Then I sent a message to fiverr support giving them all my evidence about how the buyer wanted negative feedback changed to positive on that order number. Fiverr immediately changed the negative feedback to positive that day.

I had to work hard at this, but it was worth it because my sales dropped because of the one negative feedback, and once I had 100% rating, my sales increased again.

Anyway, you almost have to annoy your buyer every single day, but in a very nice way, explaining how fiverr is part of your lifeline, tug at their heartstrings a bit. Tell them that everyone is always very happy with your service and this one negative feedback has really hurt your sales. Explain other ways you can make up for it and tell them to choose another thing you can do for them that is worth the (measly) $5 to them. Then hopefully, finally, the buyer will get annoyed (or compassionate) enough to appease you. The buyer will be getting an email every time you message them on fiverr, so this seems to work well.

But always make sure that you mention in each message that you need the negative feedback to either be taken off, or changed to positive. Explain that you don't even need a positive feedback. Just the lack of the negative feedback.

Oh yeah, and the other thing that might work is maybe the buyer can give you a thumbs up for effort, but then they can state whatever they want, negative and all in the comment section because no matter how harsh the comment it, it won't harm your rating %.

    Good luck!

Oh yeah, and also, the buyer never ended up giving me the info needed to actually do the extra service. Still waiting for his reply, but I'm sure he's forgotten by now, and that's no problem for me. I worked hard enough to change that negative feedback to positive!
