Amazon Associates Slow to Update Earnings Summary

INTERNET MARKETING

Amazon's updating of the Associates orders placed/earnings from previous day is all out of whack now.

I used to be able to plan my mornings around it, they would be updated almost 100% of the time before 7 am Pacific Standard time.

Recently though that time has fluctuated to sometimes 3 in the afternoon.

The past 2 days, it's taken an entire day to update. In fact checking right now, whatever happened on the 12th of January still hasn't updated (that's 2 days ago)

Wonder what's happening over there. New management in that dept?

  I just came here to ask the exact same thing.
  
  It's been regularly late for the past six weeks or so for me now and hasn't updated since Jan 11th for whatever reason.

Yeah, definitely a little slower than normal. Just try to ignore it and keep pluggin' away. Nothing much else you can do.

This is the longest delay for a long time. I don't mind though because sales have been bad this month anyway.

Yep, it's annoying, made even more annoying by the difference in timezones, as I live in the UK. Had loads of clicks over the past couple of days, so I really want to know how much I've earned. I'm just hoping that they haven't messed up the system, i.e. we will still get credited for sales.

Thanks for this comforting thread. I thought something strange happening to my account. I have been earning since 2010 and something got stuck since Janu 11th.

Strange also that this month my conversion is really so bad (10% than normal).Anyway that life

More important is to have the reports 100% accurate, no matter if they come in 1h or in 1 day I am speaking about accuracy because everyone, on all forums complains about surprisingly bad conversion. Even experienced affiliates with many years behind and who know the decrease which always appears in Jan.

My stats have now updated for the 12th but my sales were significantly down on previous days.

I only sold 6 items when normally I'd sell 20-50.

In all likelihood I just had a bad day but share your performance so we can see if there were any reporting problems.

All the people from all the forums are complaining about the low number of sales. I am pretty sure the reports for 13th and 14th ( when those will be visible) will solve everybody's concerns.

I do not sell on Amazon. I just posted in another thread that Amazon is losing money but their stock keeps going up. There is a big bubble being created and it will burst some day.

The slow postings of your earnings could be another sign of trouble.

It is always best to go and check within their discussion boards for late reports. I find that if they are running late or if there are going to be any problems, then there is normally a notification posted within their discussion boards.

You will also find some tidbits of information inside there
