Guys, what's the easiest way to set up affiliate programs for my products?

Hey gang, I did a forum search before asking but I only came up with affiliate marketing advice, nothing on how to set up an affiliate program for your products. I looked at Clickbank and it seems so complicated. Not to mention the "activation fee". Plus I've made several sales there and have yet to qualify to actually receive any of the money.

I'd like something simpler if possible. And ideas? I've seen a couple of plugins that looked promising but I wanted to ask here first.

I use 1ShoppingCart. But Clickbank is easier since they pay affiliates for you.

I definitely need that feature Mark. But there must be other options that take care of payments, tracking and all that besides ClickBank right?

I think Clickbank is the easiest, what do you find complicated about the setup? I find it straight forward.

Maybe it just looks complicated when you read through the process Hilal. There are a lot of steps and hoops to jump through, then at the end of it all you have to get their approval. And once you finally get it you have to pay an activation fee of almost $50.

Plus, even though I've been a very casual user at best, as I said I've generated several sales and can't figure out how to actually qualify to get paid. As far as I can see the commissions were eaten by fees. It just seems hard to understand to me.

I've seen some of the members here complaining about the fees they charge too. So I guess I had already developed a bias against using them for my own products. But if they're the best option then hey! Gotta do what you gotta do.

clickbank is good, I just don't like the approval process, I use my own merchant e-online data and premium webcart as my shopping cart.

Through my past experiences with using a few affiliate programs. Clickbank still stands as the easiest way to set up an affiliate program for any product.

Having a successful affiliate program costs a lot of money. If you are very hesitant over a $50 fee than having an affiliate program may not be the right choice for you. If you think just spending $50 is it, then you will just have an offer that sits there that nobody runs.

To have a successful program you need a grade A page, funnel, competitive payouts, banner creatives, email creatives and more! Unless you are going to do all that for your affiliates and then go out there and pound the pavement finding affiliates, then probably don't bother with the $50 fee.
