Porn traffic doesn't convert. 1:1,500-2,000 or worse is actually considered normal nowadays (some guys go up to 0:10,000+). The industry peaked around 2005 in terms of average $ per webmaster.

It is not illegal to host porn sites in Germany although they do have very strict laws on it.

Depends what is your projects. Pay sites will not convert from tubes and you will not make your money back. (i must admit, i have no experience with German traffic, so it can be different).

I've never done anything in it. I was offered a couple of different rather complex (and somewhat interesting, programmatically speaking) coding jobs in the industry, but I've always turned them down, even if I was short for cash. Just crosses my "weird" line I suppose.

Whatever you do-don't use fake profiles. Thanks to social media, you don't have to resort to 'seeding' your dating site with fake profiles. Besides, fake dating sites are very easy to spot. Here's a hint: some use ridiculous handles and porn star pictures LOL. Why? Some use scrapers to build up their sites. The good news is you don't have to do this. You can use an API-based dating site.

So I have to built API-based dating site. So how much it will cost to built a API-Based dating site? I have researched that I can get manual web scrapers @ very low cost, barely ($0.5 per hour) from freelancer or oDesk.

Have to agree with what others have said. Porn traffic is general the lowest, think about it. After the user has just completed the user experience, they are most likely not going to be reaching for their credit card to buy you offer, right?

The adult industry is pretty saturated, and the top dogs pretty much run the entire show - from free tube sites, to the more premium 'house hold name stuff'.

What I will say however if your going to go this route, adult traffic + free dating offers (CPA) = $$$$$.

Takes some testing and tweaking of course, but once you find a winner, boy have you found a winner.

I guess tube sites and cams dominates this niche nowadays. Fetishes changed overtime, and people don't seemed favorite porn stars anymore, people seemed to watch on random nowadays.

Like it or not, I think the adult industry is only going to grow. I've seen a few WSO's about getting into it, but if you're talking websites I know that a lot of hosters won't host those sites. I think there is money to be made if you do it right. Might cost a lot to make a lot though...dunno.

When you guys say ADULT, is it just "porn"? Cause there's so much other than just "porn". Would this lie into the category of "adult dating", "casual Dating". Sites like ashley madison etc. etc. That's what I'm wondering when you guys bring up "Adult affiliates". Is it just for porn or the whole grand scheme of "adult dating".
