would it be advisable to have a general domain and if you want to promote various affiliate products of varying interest have a sub-domain of the general domain for each of these thereby saving you the cost of additional domain names.

    I did that when I was first starting out and it worked just for me, but I think that a highly keyword-specific domain for each topic would net you better results long term. The domain name is important for search engines in identifying how relevant your information is to a topic.

    Hi Jackie..

    I have seen this done, and it has worked very well, but personally, I prefer to keep my domains tightly grouped to specific niche/sub-niches
