What would be YOUR next move if....

this was your project you were working on..

I'm having a hell of a time deciding where I should start as far as generating traffic to a squeeze page to promote an affiliate product. The rundown is, I'm in the process of putting a blog together, I don't have my own product (yet), and my only efforts at this point are driving traffic to a lead capture page to build a list that offers a free newsletter/product reviews/blog updates (eventually).

My niche is in dating/pickup and I really would like your guys' advice on what my next step should be.

I've been trying to get approved for some articles, however ezine articles will not accept my page I'm driving traffic to. I do want create some videos to post on you tube, I just want them have value and quality.

I would really like to try some paid traffic, I just don't have that big of a budget. As far as forums, I haven't found any forums that actually allow advertising in your signature, but it could be that I'm not looking hard enough.. So at this point I really just want some simple free methods of driving traffic to get things off the ground.

So, if you were in my position and haven't driven any amount of traffic at this time, what would be your next move?

Thanks guys.

You should try advertising on plentyoffish (pof.com). This should be able to get you targeted traffic. That's where I would buy my traffic if I was in the dating niche. You can also submit guest posts to popular dating blogs to get traffic.

Ya, I planned on starting with plenty of fish for paid traffic. I just have no experience with ppc so I want to make sure I have a decent budget to start out with. I've searched for blogs to guest post on with no luck, but that is just one thing that requires a lot of research so I think I will focus on that for now. Thanks John.

    Anybody else have some ideas?

You can create videos and upload it on YouTube!
Search for some keywords with high demand and low competition,
and optimize your videos for those keywords.
When you create video ping it using pingler or pingomatic
and share it on your social media accounts!

I agree with moneymarkerway as far as using Youtube. You can get alot of traffic if you use it right. I dont agree w/ just finding keywords in high demand and low comp and then optimizing the video. Not saying theres anything wrong with that but I think you need to be a little more creative....
