I purchased a custom Adsense site on this forum but it appears that seller has deleted his thread after receiving few requests for refund. Can I get a refund via pay pal? It's been only 7 days.

I should have waited for positive review, I guess that makes me a bad buyer too

What was the timeframe promised for delivery of the website? Have you tried to communicate with seller to check status either email or PM? Does the thread offer a money back guarantee? If past deadline to receive website and you have not gotten any response from seller then post a complaint with paypal.

Go to paypal and do a dispute. Be careful though because if he mentions that you received the item as a digital download, then you are hooped. Paypal often will side with a seller if you "received the product".

      Cheers!

Well I was supposed to receive a website and I still have few more days to go then I will file a complaint. But he is keeping telling me website is ready and this and that for four days now. I am worried because the other reviewers had to go through the same. Does Paypal normally refund for a website?

Not sure about this as I have never done it. To me it sounds like a digital product....? If you wrote up a contract does it say anywhere that you are to receive a hard copy of the website on a cd?

If so, you can use that in the dispute.

I am afraid there is no contract. I will post seller name if he fails to deliver so others can stay away from him. He is a seasoned warrior with more than 1000 post,, this is where I got deceived

Paypal's Buyer protection does not cover intangible goods - so they will side with the seller. But he has to escalate to a clam and tell them that, otherwise you have a chance of winning if he doesn't know about doing that.

Mate, you should've waited for buyers' reviews. In fact, you should've waited for the thread to reach Page 2 or 3 to get exactly what buyers have to say about that seller.

Anyways, the only way left is to dispute your payment over Paypal. Tangible or no tangible, this is your only chance left.

      Good luck,

So, let me see if I understand this...

You haven't even reached the deadline for delivery yet, but you're ready to claim the seller is bad.

I see a couple of threads in which you say you ordered sites, and they're still posted. Are you certain the one in question was deleted? If so, PM me the seller's username and I'll take a look.

This whole thread smacks of a rule #1 violation in the making.

I apologize if I am breaking any rules. I did order three sites from three different sellers. The reason why I am worried is that seller told me the third day that site is ready, fourth day due to a technical difficulty he was not able to upload.

I gave him couple more days then the negative reviews started popping up, obviously from the people who ordered much earlier than me and have requested refund multiple times. One buyer even posted emails trails between him and the seller. After reading all negative reviews, I immediately sent him an email to check the status. His reply was site is ready and he will upload it shortly. It's been 24 hours and I feel like he is just buying the time. Top of that he has deleted his thread so I think previous buyers do have some legitimate claims against him. I will PM you his name. Thanks

            Ah.

He actually approached us and said he'd goofed, and was working on getting things straightened out. I was impressed with that.

Give him a few days. I am confident he'll get things sorted for you. He is most definitely not one of our "problem children."

Yes if you do not communicate with people, there is always a feeling that something could be wrong. I always try an keep the lines of communication open and often there is a reasonable explanation if there is a delay but the only way you know this if you both stay in touch.
