I was just wondering whether there is a concrete definition for a super affiliate. There are so many people running around these days calling themselves super affiliates but I have never actually seen a definition for the term. Does it mean you are making $100 a day profit, £500 a day, £1000 a day. Or does it mean that someone is earning $30,000 a month gross, put for all we know it could cost them $29,950 on PPC. Is there a concrete definition or can anyone bend the term to their own needs and call themself a super affiliate. Just wondering... |

I don't think there is a concrete definition. I know many inflate their numbers as far as total profit just so they can increase their brand and selling ability. In my mind I consider a super affiliate someone who makes a profit of over $500k a year. If they make that much a year or more than it really shows they are very good at what they do and well above the rest.

Doesn't matter what niche he enters, what product it is, what affiliate network the product uses, what time of the year, he will bring in loads of sales in the shortest time ever possible. In other words, he can make truckloads of affiliate sales at will irrespective of product, time, location and other internal or external factors and beating even the product owner in seo ranking.

It's the same loosy goosy expression as "super-model". There is no industry standard other than an anecdotal one. I would say anyone who earns $10,000 a month at this biz. |

My idea of a real super affiliate: You know the disclaimer on every make money commercial "These results are not typical, you may or may not make as much money as these super affiliates" that's the super affiliate in my opinion

I,ve never looked into how a super affiliate is defined before. But I just did a search and found a definition I personally agree with. Definition of a super affiliate. "An affiliate capable of generating a significant percentage of an affiliate program's activity." Source: Super Affiliate - definition, information, sites, articles. -Paul |

However, from a marketing point of view, people prefer to be called a Super Affiliate rather than the old term of just an "affiliate". It makes them feel special, in a loving kind of way .Basically, it makes what they're signing up for sound better. - James.

| It's a marketing term invented by people who have realised that selling products/services to struggling affiliates is, for the most part, a more lucrative marketplace than being an affiliate yourself.

A Super Affiliate can differ depending on your perspective. If you’re the provider of the product, a super affiliate is anybody that can delivery your product a great deal of sales, regardless of the amount of money they make. A Super Affiliate that uses PPC is producing income, but is not creating wealth. In other words, all though they are making money, they are not creating an asset that can be sold at a latter date. In my humble opinion, a Super Affiliate is one that produces sales for your product, makes substantial amount of income for themselves in the process and most importantly of all creates an asset that at a later date can be sold for anywhere between 12 to 36 times the monthly net income that site is producing, thus creating wealth in the process.
