Yahoo is spamming my outgoing emails

Hello all.
When I send an auto responder email out from "Get Response",
yahoo always creates hyperlinks to key words throughout
my message.
These seem to open up a small search window that show my competitors.

Any way that I can stop this?

Do you mean the recipients that have Yahoo email accounts receive your autoresponder messages with hyperlinks?

That sounds more like some sort of Spyware/Adware on a computer that just happens to also have Yahoo.

I use yahoo and my emails never have that problem, even from a "Get Response" email.

Or does "Get Response" have a free service they offer that includes ads or something?

      Forget it, We're all screwed!
This is a yahoo tactic that is only getting worse and will continue to get worse
      with every passing day.

Whatever lands on yahoo servers automatically gets loaded with these
      hyperlinks...

You have now just lost your email privacy forever.
      Both incoming and outgoing.

There is no longer such thing as a private message with yahoo mail.

Mail Options > General > Shortcuts

        Uncheck "Interesting picks"

Or use Yahoo Mail Classic which doesn't have that feature.

yeah, I think it sucks that yahoo does this. I was thinking of blocking yahoo addresses at one time, and force the user to provide a different address, but it didn't seem like it would be worthwhile. Afterall, I personaly use yahoo for my 'real' email and there are probably others like me.

I have a Yahoo address but only to send mail to people with Yahoo addresses. For whatever reason, Yahoo accounts cannot receive mail from me. And, that includes eMail accounts with different domains too. Those addresses aren't on any blacklists that I know of, and it's an issue I only seem to experience with Yahoo users. And, not on a consistent basis either. There's one person I regularly communicate with who has a Yahoo address and never has issues receiving mail from me. Yet, I have others that never receive mail from me. I would think that it would be on the user end, but if I send myself something to my Yahoo address, I never receive it either. And, it doesn't bounce back as undeliverable. I guess it ends up in some black hole at Yahoo.

Are you trying to send to the same address that you would be receiving?
If so, try creating a disposable address in your options.
If sent using your new address,(drop-down tab) in your "from" field
you should receive it to your main yahoo address.

        Hope that makes sense.

I've had very few problems with Yahoo, and I've never seen this one?

I have been using their Mail Plus service for years now (like 20 bucks a year), and have always resisted "upgrading" away from mail classic.

This allows me to create unlimited bogus "throw-away" addresses, and I've never seen any advertising included in any outgoing or incoming as a result.

That's the prob with Yahoo, though- they want MONEY to give valuable services.

    What cheek, eh?
