What Content Makes You the Most Money... Per Dollar Spent?

Hey marketing experts,
You can go out and spend $100 getting articles written, then put them to work bringing in back links... or you can spend the same amount having a brilliant copywriter put together a few carefully crafted nuggets of sale-closing text.

Which $100 is going to make you more money?

    two sides to this question.

    If you want quality SEO, then content is king. WELL written, well optimized content that is. But a copywriter? That's just gold as well. If you have something you can sell, and you have brilliant copy and you drive traffic, all things being equal, it's gold. Now I would argue not to spend just $100 on a copywriter, at least not on a project you value much

    But 100 bucks on some good quality content is an investment I would make any day of the week.

    I think copywriting is the key in marketing. Just learn how to copywrite. It is free to learn, nothing is stopping you. I bet you read it every day. Watch it on T.V. every day.

    Even when you write an article. Throw some copywriting techniques in it and you will have a great article. In this industry it is all about understanding how people think/react.

    I just watched a video course on how this person made $27,000 in 7 days with a 4 page website. He understood the psychology on how people will react to his words.

    The thinking behind an up sale right after people buy a product. "you want fries with that" is an up sale and there is a reason for it. The same goes for a free gift on a squeeze page. When someone signs up, they are trusting you with their info. They are ready to learn from your gift. So your next page should be an up sale with good copy. Make them think they are getting a great deal. How it can better their life. Give them a reason to trust you.

    I think your best bet is to hire someone or learn copywriting. This is how you will make a sale. Article writing is mainly for bringing in traffic. This traffic will be useless with out the right copy on your squeeze page, sales page, up sale page and so on.

    Its hard to throw so much information into a post but I think you will get the idea.

    I realize it's kind of a chicken and egg thing, yeah. You need content to get traffic, and you need copy to turn traffic into sales.

    But if you spend $$$ on a good sales page, how much can you make with mediocre traffic?

    Or, if you spend $$$ on a bunch of traffic, can you still get a bunch of sales with a mediocre sales page?

      IMO focusing on your list is the best investment, buying solo ads gets my $100 then i can build a relationship with the opt ins and market to them forever. Moohahaha!

    Revies of top sellers at Clickbank and Amazon are some of the most important things you can sepdn money on content. Of course, a top copywriter is a gold mine as well.

    You need good copywriting.

    You don't need traffic from articles. Article writing is the last thing I do for traffic.

    My 3 main traffic sources. My list, Facebook, and PPC. Everything else is to time consuming.
