Default How To Change *This* Setting In Wordpress

Happy Easter, everyone!

I'm looking for a setting in Wordpress, and I can't find it...

Say you have 30 posts in a certain category and you go to that category. It'll show you 10 posts and the next 10 will be on the "next" page. How do I change this so that it only displays 3 or 5 posts per page in the category archive?

p.s. It's a smart S.E.O move to show MORE posts per category page

Try this:
In the dashboard, select "Settings", then select "Reading".

Then look at the text field of "Blog pages show at most". Change the default 10 posts to the number you want, i.e. 3 or 5 posts per page.

Hope this works. Happy Easter

The reason I was asking is because I have videos on the page, so when 10 try to load at once it slows everything down SO much...I set them to pre-load when they're each on their own page, but when they all end up together it causes mayhem.

Is this my best option?

And thanks a lot for the advice, Yogurt!

You could use the <more> tag in your posts to avoid them showing on the page.. this will hide them behind a "click to read more" link for each post and will give the reader the option first..

Peace
