Getting Spammed by Your Own List

Anyone have a clever way of dealing with this?

I sometimes have people subscribe to my list with an address they have setup on an auto-responder. They'll send me promotional messages, usually advertising some black hat script or other garbage.

What do you do with these people?

Ah, this is the same idea as when I used to be a store manager. I never fired people, I just promoted them to customer.

There's a difference between emailing a person who's opted in and being emailed by a person who is sending you unsolicited mail. i.e information you didn't opt-into.

Yea, it definitely is bothersome when they take your email so out of the blue. Mark them as spam and move on...
