Hello

First sorry for my english

I am newbie in internet marketing and want to build list but the problem is the niche. I know that most profitable niches are make money online, weight loss and dating but i got alot of awnsers. Someone told me to dont go with these niches because high competition some others told me that competition is good.

I need your opinions and ideas what do you think its easy to go with these niches?

Also if you can share some ideas how to find some new niches with low competition or sub niches?

Thank You

There are lot of niches that make money and have high competition, but what are you interested in? What are you passionate about? Competition is good as far it tells you that this subject is popular, and that people are interested in it, however you will get started faster in a niche you are interested in. Sub niches are a good thing to do, because there is less competition there. You really have to decide what you want to do, and then develope a game plan to follow through.

If you like cabin and rustic home decorating for example, start finding information about cabin and rustic home decorating, so you can have valuable content on your website for your visitors, find affiliate products you can promote, ebooks you can sell, monetize with adsense ads. Learn how to use and connect your website to all the social media, so you will have a steady stream of website traffic. Keep your content fresh. It is better to have an interest you really like and then create a system to promote and market it.

I hope this has been helpful to you, and good luck on your new internet marketing adventure.

      Hi tko4,

You're on the right track here, because you are aware of some of the most profitable niches. Other ones, which are also profitable and 'evergreen' (so they will be profitable far into the future) are: personal development (goal setting, laws of abundance et cetera ...), alternative health, sports and hobbies.

I agree with gabbydeb that you should also follow your passion - but that is very much secondary to choosing a profitable niche first.

And don't be afraid of competition, because it makes it fun. Look at the top web sites in your chosen niche, sign up for their mailing list and see what they do. And then do it even better.

      Good luck,

      Warmest regards,

      Paul

If you want to stack the copywriting deck in your favor with tricks and hacks producing winners like: "$20K in three days" "650 sold" "30% conversion", then you might like to know I'm retiring and will spill the beans to two people. More info here.

I also think that money making niche is the best one. I does have a lot of competition but that's not the problem. The main problem is that you should start a newsletter about something you like and you know about. Do you know something about making money online? If YES, then start a list for money makers...if NOT, find another niche

go in for a niche you have interest in. choosing a niche that you already have adequate knowledge about it is the best choice. with this, you give your visitors more than they could bargin for. if you have interest in the niche, you have the knowledge to give your readers the best among the lot, then forget about the competition esp if you have the money to use paid methods to build traffic to your squeeze page.

I'd also suggest going with a niche that you have a passion for. If that one happens to a sub-niche of one of the Big 3, that's even better. But nothing is worse than to start building a list, and then having to abandon it because you don't have the energy to come up with content consistently. What's the point of having your own business if you don't enjoy what you are doing?

On the other hand, even if your niche is not as big as IM, Health or Dating, you can make a lot of money. Build a relationship, over-deliver, and become their trusted advisor. When you promote something, you can be sure that the percentage that will buy from you is so much higher. Also, you can create high-ticket items in your area of interest, and sell that to your list.

    Follow your heart :-)

I don't see competition as competition. I see competition as future JV partners. I see competition as others in my niche to bounce ideas off one another. I see competition as a means for product development, research and product improvements. I see competition as potential advertisers to my sites or vice versa. I see competition as other experts in my niche that I can interview to create a product that we may both benefit from. I see competition as solo ad and adswap possibilities. I see competition as a healthy, striving marketplace. And the list could go on and on. If you envision your competition as no longer competition, but as a confidante in your business, that is what they will be if you are willing to be one in theirs.

These are the niches that sell and will be evergreen. You will find it difficult to build a list in niches with less competition unless you know the niche well.

Try something you're interested in first; it makes it a lot more enjoyable and feels a lot less like work. This is particularly helpful if you're still finding your feet in the world of IM because, at times, you'll run into problems and want to give up! But don't; keep trying and keep taking action.
