Need New Screen Capture Video. Any Suggestions

I use BB Flashback Express. It's very feature rich for a free program, and you can even use it to upload your videos to some of the video sharing sites.

I also like that I can convert my videos into web pages, and you can customize your templates. Too many features to list, but I've used Cam Studio too, and this is way better, and it's easy.

You just need to type in Google "Camtasia alternative" or "Camtasia vs" and you wil get a lot of alternatives.

I've been reading a lot of good reports about a new program: Easy Video Suite, although I personally use and highly recommend BB Flashback Pro.

  Of the free screen recording programs I've tried (which is quite a few), ActivePresenter is by far the best of the bunch. And it has a pretty good video editor included.

I'm going to have to go with Screencast-O-Matic - Free online screen recorder for instant screen capture video sharing. as well.

Here is another one that is similar to SCOM ~> Screenr | Instant screencasts: Just click record

I use the "pro" version of SCOM for almost 2 years now and I absolutely love it!

I wouldn't be too quick to jump ship with Camtasia Studio. I have been using it since version 3, and it is about the only software I update each version, rather than every other version.

Rather than abandon Camtasia, I would take the time to discover why you are having troubles. They have excellent support. I use it weekly, and I don't have any problems with it.

I think you should stick to camtasia, use Lynda.com to learn from experts or hire someone on Fiverr. Camtasia seems to e the reference in the market and I think you should give it a second try.

Camtasia is my favorite. The lower version of it (Camstudio) is good too, but sometimes acts up on me too. But i still think that it is worthwhile. You should consider uninstalling Camstudio and re-installing it to see if it works and gives you no more problems.

My Screen Recorder works well for me. The recordings are crystal clear, it is perfect for demos and tutorials. Not expensive either - Screen Recording Software: My Screen Recorder

I have not had a chance to give it a run yet, but I have heard a lot of good things about ActivePresenter. It has two paid versions but the free version is just as powerful as the paid versions.

Take Sean Gipson's advice!

Go for the free download of ActivePresenter.

The no cost version has all the features you need to put together
good looking videos... and it even has great editing tools.

If I need more capability down the road, I am definitely upgrading.

Well, CamStudio runs well on my computer. If you want to seek other alternatives, I think you can consider Free Online Screen Recorder. You don’t even to download or install it. Just go to the page of it then hit on “Start Recording” button, the program will pop up after loading. This tool also supports quick editing, scheduling recording task and uploading to YouTube. They are really useful. You can know more at here.

I use Hypercam2, it's free. I've never tried any of the other ones that people listed so I don't know if it's good or bad but it works for me.
