Did Godaddy do away with promo codes?

I just went to Godaddy and bought three domain names. I looked up promo codes so I could get a discount, as I always do. But this time, when I got to the payment button, there was no place to put in the code.

Did they do away with this option?

Yeah I have noticed that also..just bought a domain name two days ago, and no place to enter a promo code!!! What happened to this?

Yes, I registered 3 domains thinking the promo code can be placed after I click on the "checkout" .... wasted $20

Ever notice that people who spend money on WSO, memberships and courses, are always complaining about being broke and not making any money ?

They should have bought ASSETS instead.

I still get emailed promotions from GoDaddy; maybe they're doing it this way via links in their emails?

  How do you get these email. I have not seen anything like that in my email from them. But then maybe I need to open up more of my email.

Theyve moved it. On the cart page its below the domain list.

  None of the codes ever work for me nowadays, the discount never gets applied. Which is somewhat annoying.

They got rid of a lot of codes, however they seem to be releasing more new ones every day, they just released one today for a new $0.99 .com promo

Yes.
And they are much higher to renew.
I even called them and asked why none of the "coupons" work, and I was told they don't offer on renewals.

Cheap when you register, expensive to renew.

Honestly I considered an alternative to Godaddy but there aren't any both in terms of pricing and reliability. Every competitor has a bunch of its own issues.

  This is what I do when I want a cheap domain. I go to Fatwallet.com and do a search for GoDaddy. You will find a lot of codes some work and some don't you just have to try a few. I am usually able to find one for .99 or 1.99.
