How to find newer/smaller forums.

I'm developing content for a new site and want to establish myself in the community prior to launch. Any suggestions on where to find smaller/new forums?

    Just go to Google and type in forum + niche. It will give you a list of forums in what ever niche you are looking at. Then you just decide what ones you want to join.

    Or you can check on BigBoards, it is a forum directory that chronicles all forums filtered according to categories. Hope this helps.

      Perfect! I knew their had to be a directory like that somewhere. Googling just gave me page after page of post results from the same top 3 sites.
