Increasingly, newspapers and magazines are converging online. For the content marketer, this means more opportunities than ever before for directly driving torrential floods of highly targeted traffic. However, quality writing is also more essential than ever before.

Some excellent books covering this topic are:
"Writer's Digest Handbook of Magazine Article Writing", by Michelle Ruberg (Editor)
"Feature Writing for Newspapers and Magazines", by Edward Jay Friedlander and John D. Lee
"The Elements of Style", by William Strunk
"Turn Words Into Traffic", by Jim and Dallas Edwards (These methods work better than ever, post Panda )

The only content strategy that works is high quality content and lots of it. You need to be consistent to make Google happy.

It doesn't occur to you, then, that part of the advantage of content marketing is that it transcends Google and produces businesses that don't depend on SEO traffic? :p

It's true, I think Google gives more weight to sites that publish on a daily basis.

Quality writing is huge these days. It's hard to find a great website copywriter. Speaking of this, here is a link to my web copywriter. They do a fantastic job for us on all of our projects.

There so many other factors going into content marketing. Inbound marketing strategies are huge going into 2013. Personally, I think it's all about relationships. Facilitating trust is paramount to almost every conversion.

So many things to do that we forgot simple things that matter big. 1 thing is to define and answer your customer's questions. This is so easy to do, yet most of us don’t do it. Do you have a system in place to compile the questions your customers are asking and post your answers to those questions on the web? The content opportunities that spring up from customer service and sales alone can support your content marketing strategy.

The main areas that will probably see some movement in 2013:
    1. Mobile marketing
    2. Website design
    3. Data analytics
    4. Social media
