Kindle Book or Series of Reports?

I have a report/book that I've written on "selling real estate by owner". I'm debating whether to sell it as a book on kindle for 9.99(?) or selling it as a series of inexpensive reports .99(?) to build a "brand" in the FSBO/Investor category. Anyone with kindle experience provide some insight?

I just came across a post on someones blog that has given me more food for thought regarding kindle publishing.

Short post, great points made. Of course I'm still open to suggestions on my original question above. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Why not do both?

You can create a Kindle ebook and also sell single cheap reports.

kindle is fine, and here are many guides in the WSO section that will help you with the marketing part of it.

Hopefully you have a back-end strategy as selling on Kindle will not earn you a living for the vast majority of people. What it CAN do is provide a very good platform for reaching a wide audience for no or low cost ebooks that can then drive leads to your website (think giveaway's, contests, or special deals) so you can capture leads and sell back-end products to buyers.

Sell the reports and then bundle all of them into one big book. So, in other words do both.

In the back of each report, just link to the compilation book as well as your website.

OR…if you really want to build a brand make one or two of the reports (or create another report) free permanently. Make sure you have a good author website, fan page, and author central page setup.

Oh and don't forget to publish your book in print too via createspace.

You can always add more content to the book, give the reports away on kindle and then provide a link to the juiced up book as a paid course and charge much more than 10 bucks.

I would definitely publish on Kindle. Like others have suggested, I would make the book more meaty, adding new material, pictures, etc. to make it worth the $9.99 price tag. Then you could sell or give away the reports with a link to your book on Amazon - use them as teasers.

Also, be sure to create a CreateSpace account and publish there, too. Easy money.

e books on kindle needs a lot of advertising
and the price is high you are going to set!
