    I have been making a full time living on the internet for over 15 years selling video training products that I produce. What makes the company successful is the quality of the product. Almost 2/3 of my sales come from existing customers. Repeat business is very important to stay in business. Interestingly as more people use sites like YouTube and accept poor quality content it makes my content look even better by comparison. Bottom line, whatever you sell make sure it is the best that it can be. Quality counts more than you may realize. Making money on the internet is easy in the short term, staying on the internet in the long run is the real trick.

    I do make a full time income online using my blogs. And no I don't make 10s of thousands of dollars. But its enough for me to be able to leave comfortably.

    It took 2 years of hard work to get there though. And of course, the hard work still continues today. Its not easy, but if you really commit yourself, its possible.

    That said, I still haven't given up my offline business as it gives me an excuse to get out of the house, and thats especially helpful to me given my 7-8 year long battle with depression.

    I know its gonna sound all cliche, but I basically started like everyone else, wasted lots of time jumping from one method to another, until I finally realized I had to stick with one.

    The best thing is that once you start making a little money, you have proven to yourself that you an do it, so it gets easier (at least mentally) to keep going until you are able to make a living online.
