If you watch, I bet that a lot of money is made off patriotic stuff. I'm kind of iffy about dipping into that market myself. Makes me feel a little dirty somehow.

    wow. why would patriotism make you feel dirty? Being prior military (both 'regular' and national guard), this really baffles me.

      You can make money off of politics and politicians but you do feel like your need a shower afterwards, especially if you're selling stuff like Obama thongs.

      Patriotic stuff is kind of separate since it's hooked to a national identity and not to a particular politician or political party.

      I think there is a difference between taking advantage of patriotism and selling patriotic or political items. The former can be questionable but the latter is fulfilling a need.

      Not patriotism. I served my country and loved doing it. What makes me feel a little dirty for some reason is making a buck of patriotism
