How do I record a phone interview? I am looking to record some interviews I want to do and using my cell & a tape recorder kills the audio quality.

Hi if you are using skype in making call you can record it by using PowerGramo.

I've also used InstantTeleSeminar.com in the past and in my opinion they are the best solutions out there.

I use teletool 2000. You can find it here W3.twacomm (dot) com/info/Teletool_2000.htm I can't do links yet.

You'll need cool edit or some other wave editor. The software they send with it sucks. PM me if you need help.

Here's a better looking link. just replace *'s with .'s....

    www*twacomm*com/info/Teletool_2000.htm

edit: I just saw that you want to use a cell phone. I don't know if this will work like that. I use mine with a land line and I love it.

I picked up a handy little electric device at Radioshack that plugged into the phone headset jack and from there the receiver plugged into it. Was like $20 or something like 10 years ago. me and my buddies in junior high used it to record prank calls. Was a slick little outfit, I'm sure you can still find them around. From that it plugged into a handheld mini-casette recorder or a tape deck. Would probably work even with a mic input to your computer, though I never tried. Could probably eBay one up if you looked.

some cell phones have voice recording built into them the motorola v190 does as does the i9 which i use now. Alternately go to GetJar: Free Java, Symbian, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, Palm and Flash Lite mobile games and applications it is a mobile download site if your phone support java there should be an application there to give you this feature on your current phone.

I'm running Mac OS and use SkypeCap for Mac (www skypecap com) to record skype calls. As far as I know, they have a similar application for Windows.
