INTERNET MARKETING

Hi. There was a press release service where you paid
A dollar for each release (with a $20 deposit). I figure this
would be of higher quality than many of the awful free sites
that load the release with ads. I just can't remember which
service did this. Anybody?

If you can't find that $1 site your next best bet would be Fiverr at $5 per release and if you want to buck up from there Press Release Distribution Services - WebWire is the place to be at less then $20 per release.

I didn't particularly find these services worthwhile. You've got to have something really worthwhile. I can think of a couple of cased where we paid $200 to prweb for about 20 clicks from all sites. Most of the sites that repost them remove the links too.

Use webwire.com

I've tested it, and it performs well.

Don't use it, if you're only looking for SERPS boost though. I think those days are numbered.
