Wordpress install to host account

Does anyone have an easy guide to set up Wordpress on your server? It is my first time working with it and I want to make sure it is done correctly. Also any tips on formulating your blog and best hosts to use would be helpful as well. I have heard host gator is pretty good to use.

    I recommend Hostgator - and with Fantastico provided by HG in the cpanel, you can set up a wordpress blog with a couple clicks. Very easy to do.

    I really like hostgator, i have made a whole bunch of videos for putting up a wordpress blog, I would give you a link, but I'm still working on my first 15 posts search thedesktoptutor we have free videos it should be in there.
