How to create citation?

Hi all warriors

I have read some post on seomoz and other SEO-information related website that today citation is very important.

So my question is, how to make a good citation? Some people suggest to list my site on yahoo directory, but, what do you think?

And, last, i want to build 3-4 unique domain with targetting on semantic keyword. And then the site link back on my main site. Is it safe? Because i also have read that link shcemes is dying...

Please let me know your point of view.

      What i mean is not like that. What i mean is, when you search on google, you can see "chaced" and "similar pages" for each website. the "similar pages" is related to the co-citation. So, how to get it?
