not necessarily....although i would agree it's not better than launching a free wso or grabbing people's emails from products they've purchased from you, but you can still get good traffic and build your list with solo ads.

i prefer grabbing solo ads from WF. safe-swaps is good and i've used it before, but the stuff i got there was not as effective as the ones ive gotten from WF and through recommended sellers.

I wouldn't use solo ads or safe swaps. There are very few list owners who do swaps and solos who don't constantly bombard their list with one offer or another. Keep in mind you're not the only guy who is doing a swap or solo with them. I would take another route there for sure. Their lists are designed with one thing in mind: keep moving people in to replace the ones that get sick of getting hit with emails, and to make money.

I think that both strategies will work. I would take both and use them. When you do that, track the results and see which one gets you better results then the other. Then when you know for sure what works better, stick to it.

While one strategy may work for one marketer, it may not work too well for another.

You always have to test things out and track everything.

I personally feel the issue is not the platform, but more on the credibility of that person who is providing the solo ads. There are some solo ads sellers who are on both Safe Swaps and Warrior Forum. Conversion will also be dependent on the sales funnel that you have set up. I will not condemn any traffic until I have tested it.

There are many people who are getting good results with solo ads from Safe Swaps and Warrior Forum. It must have been a valid methods or else they will not be getting results.

Just my 2 cents.

These days I buy my solo ads almost exclusively from Safe Swaps...

In the beginning I bought many solo ads from the WF and there are still some good providers there, but these days I stick to Safe Swaps and personal contacts through Skype.

There are black sheeps in all industries.
My advice:
Solo ads: always try small numbers of clicks: to test out genuine of the list promised. If the ROI is good, then proceed to order more.
So it doesn't matter if solo ads are from WF or Safe-swaps.

Adwords is definitely good source of targeted traffic. However, it is quite expensive.
Try other PPC such as Face Ads..etc.

Ultimately, you just have to test and measure the ROI

First you need to have a good squeeze page and a sales funnel..

Next is to find out which seller traffic is good for you. Certain solo ads seller traffic might be good for me might not be good for you as we have different products to sell and also different way of building up the relationship...

Is good to test both of them out...

To be honest I'd say NONE. If you're a newbie marketer you first gotta learn how to build, engage and maintain a mailing list, before spending your money on solo ads.

I'd also say stay the hell away from adwords for now, it is google's torture chamber of doom for newbe affiliates, who don't know how to run game on it.

Paid advertising lets you grow that list much faster, but don't discard free like SEO and Social , you can do both at once really. I'd start with PPC in 7search and adcenter (taking advantage or their coupon promotions, free money to test with) to begin building that list. There are some newbe friendly traffic sources out there, but it really depends on your vertical/niche, style.

i have made some great money from safe swaps and solo ads, I use to hate them but then I just figured out that I was doing it wrong, there is a right way and a wrong way to do everything.

And solos even from safe swaps can be profitable when done right.

I also prefer using WF... I've used Safe-Swap but didn't get good leads. But I would advise you to build your list with paid advertising. Use Facebook, it's easy to use and cheap. Classified ads are also a good place.
