These are URL links and I just really want you guys to check the backlinks I created and see if this is how should they really look like:

I removed the www and http

cooltechzone-evonyadventure.info.com/microwaves/?filter=503541_110910_

alexa.com/site/linksin/cqcp.net/&url=evonyadventure.info

folkd.com/detail/evonyadventure.info%2Fvideo%2F2066152

Did I make them right?

They don't seem like the type of URLs that anyone would click on. I don't think they would help you much, and search engines won't do much with them either.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

  • Jensha,

    A couple of things here.

First, the concept of creating a backlink has less to do with the structure of a URL and more to do with what anchor text was used, where the link was placed on a website, and from what website the link is coming from. To ask “did I build a backlink correctly”, you would need to provide information like I just mentioned.

If you did use these URL’s as your anchor text, I would have to agree with dvduval and say that people are not likely to click on these. Although that would also be dependent on the context in which you placed them. For instance if you had a paragraph of text that instructed a user to click on the link and it was apparent from a user point of view that this was a logical course of action to take, then just having the URL as anchor text might be ok.

I also agree with dvduval on the structure of the links as they relate to SEO. Google has gotten much better at dealing with nasty looking links but you are far better off to try and place your target keywords in the links (especially if the URL’s are visible to users as anchor text).

You might want to check out this resource for more info on building backlinks properly,

    Hope that answers your question,

Yeah, I would agree with Shawn.
So basically, backlinks are commonly used as an Anchored Texts which means when you clicked on the text that is anchored to a specific URL then you'll be redirected to that URL.

I see, thank you so much.
So if backlinks are the ones we can see in a blog or forum that we can click on (whether or not it's covered with an anchor text), what do we call is when we submit the link of our site to a URL box in a blog comment?
