How do you drive traffic to a brand new blog again?

Sorry, brainfreeze.

I thought, social/web2.0 sites but then, how do you drive traffic to those?

    use the free traffic source in your signature or the single best traffic source on your signature, better yet remove them from your signature before anyone learns traffic from someone who doesn't know how to drive traffic.

    Regardless they get traffic or not but you can get valuable backlinks for your site which will help to index and increase the ranking of your money site.

    The first thing you need to do is decide how long you are in for this. If it's a while, then article marketing will KILL it with SEO in the long run.

    My drumming company actually launched Flight Drummers Magazine 2 months ago and in that two months we have written about 50 articles and have 200+ tags out there. We went from 15 unique visitors per day to 1,100 today...

    With that amount of traffic, you can easily throw up some Aweber subscription forms/popups and you'll pull subscribers rapidly... :-)
