What Would You Do With Your Last $30???

Hey Warriors,

I got this question from a new client. His exact question was:

"If you had your last $30 would you invest it in a solo ad campaign or warrior forum classified ads (and save $10)??"...

I'm a big fan of solo ads, so I said to him solo ads. I would like to know from you guys, what would you do with your last $30?? If you have a good converting offer and a good squeeze page.
#$30 #classified ads #lats #paid traffic #solo ads

Buying the solo ads might only give you 100 plus clicks...unless you have a good sales funnel else you will not make money back...

      Hi there,

I would suggest that the client saves up his/ her money and takes his/ her time to do things right.

When he/she has a bit more money, here are a few steps that I suggest:

Start a blog (with an opt in box)
Get 2 articles up per week for at least 6 weeks (perhaps through fiverr gigs)
Create a free FB fan page (attach it to your blog)
      Get out a Press Release
Create Youtube videos (with your site link)
      Engage your audience
      Watch the traffic grow
      Engage your audience again
      Create a giveaway
      Create an info product perhaps
Help your customers with a painful problem
Begin to promote other relevant offers
Sell your website for profit (option)

Enjoy the process! It's work after-all.

The fact he doesn't know, or has an inability to make this decision on his own means that his odds of losing it all are way above average. Keeping in mind that most (more than 50%) people online lose money. I've also read that the failure rate for online business is even higher than that of an offline start-up.

Not trying to discourage you, rather just ground you in reality. Before you do gamble that $30 all away.

Thnx, makes perfect sense why he can't make a decision. But I believe you will never know till you find out. He must just use the money wisely and choose a good place to advertise his offer.

Everything is a risk... even crossing the road is a risk... risk is what we always do even if we don't realise it sometimes. That's just my humble opinion, he should take the risk.

    There's no voucher for fiverr.

What I mean to say is we can buy some facebook or adwords vouchers from fiverr sellers.

When it comes to buying vouchers or coupons, some of them are not always legit.

But there are some in fiverr who made it a living and update their vouchers/coupon regularly.

You can check how many people have used a specific seller selling vouchers.

I see this as the wrong question to be asking and would challenge your client as to why he is asking it...

Because the question gives the impression that this is the end of the road and that $30 is the final effort to succeed.

So my answers in reply are:
    why are you asking this?

Isn't that question the "employee mindset?"

Do you have a long term objective?
Are you aware of huge potentials to obtain email addresses without $30? Are you utilizing them right now?

Because $30 is really not much money for ad's and unlikely to make the necessary change that your client wants.

    His focus could shift towards...

What does it really take to succeed online?

And spend the $30 on an autobiography of a successful entrepreneur - such as Steve Jobs! Reading how others succeed begins a process of challenging our beliefs about business.

You'll get change from the $30 too.

You can do a lot with $30:
      1. Advertise in a blog for a month
      2. Do Pay-Per-View ads
      3. Hire someones forum signature in forums like digital point, etc for a month
      4. Do Pay-Per-View Advertisements in Digital point
      5. Hire someone in fiverr to do linkwheels (They do bring up a lot of traffic, u guess)
      6. Pay a Guest-Posting service for a guest post
      7. Hire someone in fiverr to write and submit a press release for you.
      8. Hire someone to submit articles for you in some of the article directories.

It's not true that you can't do anything with a $30. A $30 in the hands of an experienced Internet Marketer makes a huge difference than in the hands of a newbie.

If I were you though, I would recommend my client for a combination of guest-posting and blog advertising, or I will tell him the various options he has, to invest the $30, encourage him to read more on these topics, and make his own investment.

      Yeah, do this.

If you have to spend the $30? Find somebody who can write quality 1000 word articles for around $8 and see if you can get four-for-$30.

Post the articles to the blog on the backend of the site. Have the articles point to the main sales page. Then start posting comments on relevant niche blogs and forums on a consistent, daily basis. Within a month or two they will be getting a steady number of targeted visitors, both referred and via search engines.

"Quality"? "1,000 words"? I think you may have to go back to the 1950's to do that: that's less than $0.01 per word!

I would buy some nutty bars, a notebook, 7 pens, and some gas. Then id drive to a house that i dream about living in, and write 10 reasons i'm not making money (if i were him).

Then under that i'd write 10 ways I can sell my skills.

Under that i'd write what i would do with the seed money i earned from providing a service.

Then i'd viciously devour the nutty bars while i think about laying in pools of the cash i'm going to soon be earning.

    You only THINK i'm kidding.

Also note that the seven pens are optional. I lose pens a lot.

Make sure my Internet bill was paid, then go over to Textbroker or Zerys/Interact Media and find some articles to write for fast cash. I'd make more than $30/day even writing articles that are on the lower end of the pay scale (assuming I had all day to work on it). Then I could reassess my situation with more cash and breathing room.

Long ago i had $10 left in my online budget that i wanted to invest. Got a domain name, not EMD but a brandable one that was open and sat on it until i knew more about wordpress to create a site.

Years later I flipped it (buyer really just wanted domain name) for about $400+. Don't underestimate how much impact small investments can have.

If it is just $30, either some fiverr gigs or don't even bother with the $30 and just do free advertising.

I'm a big fan of solo ads, so I said to him solo ads. I would like to know from you guys, what would you do with your last $30?? If you have a good converting offer and a good squeeze page.
I've never had much success with Solo Ads. I would spend the money on cheap PPC, PPV or CPM.

If my Squeeze page and offer is good, I would buy PPV or PPC traffic. Quality traffic at cheap prices. I may look at International traffic where prices are generally cheaper and work from there.

If you're serious about building a real business online you will find a way to get more than $30 to set up a squeeze page, build a list with your autoresponder service, and market affiliate offers to the list you build with free traffic to start... then roll your profits back into paid advertising and keep re-investing to build your list

I think there's really a problem with the question to begin with.

Thinking like spending a sum of money is the key to internet
marketing success is really a completely faulty mindset.

When it comes down to it, if you're a one person operation the
key to your success is a matter of skill and intelligent effort.

Money is more or less irrelevant...there are free options for nearly
anything you want to do online.

An answer that makes sense might be..."What can you do today
that delivers enough value to someone else that they'll be willing
to pay you money for it?"

Forget about trying to spend $30 to get rich and start thinking
about how you might use the skills you have now to deliver value
    to others.

    Kindest regards,
    Andrew Cavanagh

If you are a bit of a gambler, spend that $30 in a Fiverr solo ads. find any solo ads that have more than 1000 email list and then use three solo ads gig and spend $15 for it, after that, you can spend the rest $15 on adf.ly. But if you refuse to gamble and you want to test the water and see a result, I suggest you to save that money and later buy a paid traffic.

Since you have a good converting offer and a squeeze page, the $30 could be spent on generating traffic. I wouldn't go for solo ads because they typically contain freebie seekers, and besides $30 won't stretch very far for paid ads. So what your looking for is targeted traffic with buyers. I would either save the $30 for beer, or use it to outsource someone to post on targeted community sites. Sites like odesk have lots of people doing this for a few dollars an hour.

I would ask him to keep the $30, and go for free promotion methods, because it seems like he can't really afford to lose the money.

I'm sure a bit of forum marketing with a signature link and posts that provide value will give him a good number of subscribers over the time. I'd ask him to get a couple of hundreds of subscribers in that way, and then go for paid advertising from the money he got from his current subscribers.

If he does that, he'd probably have way more than $30 to invest, and he can test with different traffic sources.

I will treat myself with something good, maybe a dinner in a restaurant. Just kidding.
I think that $30 should be fully utilized for solo ads. Some cheap solo ads is available for only $28. And even it is a failed solo ads campaign, you know that this particular solo ads is not working for you. And if you do this many times, you can save up a lot of failed solo ads to your private notes.

go to the pub, buy a few beers and write down your business plan on a napkin with a pen.

$30 bucks aint gunna get you far, so you would have to use free traffic, and build a list. And then go from there.
