Need facebook clarification...

This is what I *think* I know...

If I have a biz fan page, it USED TO BE that if someone liked my biz fan page, then all of my subsequent posts would show up on *their* wall.

But now that is not the case.

So, what does a potential customer have to do when landing on a biz fan page so that the biz's post WILL appear on the consumer's page? Basically subscribing. IS there a way? If so, what is that way?

BTW, if a like does not produce the viral effect it once did, then what IS the advantage to having people like your biz fan page?

Please advise.

Thanks!

I think if you like any page their posts start appearing on your wall. Although subscribers do have a control in the settings panel to hide your posts.
I have liked many pages on Facebook and i get regular updates from those forums on my wall.
