I am developing a discussion board where people will ask about and discuss anti-aging. I came up with a domain name, but the problem is that I'm not a native English speaker, so I have hard time telling whether the domain name sounds good or whether it's weird.

The domain name is AgeAsk.com. Your opinions are appreciated. Please state whether you are a native speaker or not in your answers.

Thanks!

I am from England and it doesn't sound right, it sounds like it is missing a word in-between... For example: Ask about ageing .com would be something I could relate to or antiageingdiscussion.com

ageask sounds good to me. It is short and easy to remember. It does not necessarily make sense in proper English but that doesn't really matter. It is easy to understand what the site is about and is a easily brandable name. I say go with it.

Well, personally, I don't like the word "age" but then that's something I don't intend to do :-)
Something a little sexier might be in order. Say StopAgingNow or YoungForever. A positive sounding name doesn't have to be terribly short. Just easy to remember.

Good luck getting it now, someone who might've liked it has probably taken it by now...you should never ask on these forums questions like that lol

Well, if someone reading this thread did take it, I think they did the OP a favor and now he can come up with a more catchy name that would better serve him and his site, lol.

I'm a native speaker and it's not something I'd respond all that well to, frankly. I'm sure you can do better, altho it is a competitive niche, I hear.

    AgeAsk

It's like putting the cart before the horse, it sounds mixed up to me.

someone bought the domain on Jan 24th.

I'm a native speaker and it sounds fine to me. I have a couple of other domain ideas for you but I don't want to say them on the board and have them stolen from you if you don't already own ageask.com.

It sounds awkward to me. I don't care for it. I'd go for a good branded domain. Something like ageless beauty.com ... although don't even look for that. It's long gone. But you get the idea.
