    What reason did they say it's dead? I don't see how it can be dead. It's just about getting the CPC low enough so you make a positive ROI, which does take time and effort.

    False. It still works, you just have to be creative. I've tested it. You won't find it in some mass sold ebook on clickbank though.

    Probably not true, really. To the extent that there's some truth in it, that's mostly just because most people's ideas of, and attempts at, "review sites" are pretty much crap, anyway - not because there's anything wrong with PPC per se.

    I think review sites are very important because these PPC affiliate marketing sites get traffic via review sites.

    Without review sites, many people (including myself) may think twice before trying out affiliate marketing.

    Yeah this sounds false to me because there are definitely a lot of people making full-time incomes by selling affiliate products with paid traffic. The only way you can succeed at doing this though is if you are using the paid traffic to build a list and recommending products to them later after they trust you

    Hey... There are a couple of programs out there that still promote doing ppc but I believe with a different tang in their approach.

    Hey Folusho .... sounds interesting what you said, did you use adwords or some other 3rd tier search engine and did you stop or did you continue and did you scale up on it at some point ...what happened anyway ?

      At one point I had 1000 ads running on Adwords, and 1103 on MSN.

      PPC still works.

      I test affiliate marketing on MSN, and I use Adwords to sell services and physical products.
