How to sell a website?..

Hi all,

I want to sell my website because I need money for a new project.

The website is in the dog niche. The main posts are only funny and cute dog pictures and I get around 70-90 daily visitors ( and growing). The blog is now PR2 after a few months. The site runs completely on autopilot. The site has huge potential if you would put up an autoresponder for a free dog training book or connect a blog with dog training tips to it.
Its connected to several social platforms with growing followers.

I never sold a website and would not know what this website is worth and where to sell it.

Flippa.com is a good way to go..
Use their description feature to describe benefits of your site as much as you can, why are you selling, what the buyer will get..also you can provide some bonuses to a buyer, that way you can increase the value of your website even more..

You can list it on Flippa for a $29 fee. It has fairly low traffic and no revenue, so I wouldn't expect big money for it. Many people on Flippa are looking for revenue producing sites.

Yes Flippa.com is the best optin for selling website or you can post your add on Warrior Forum's WSO section in "complete websites for sale".

Try flippa
Read some guides first and if you think you can make a lot from the website use escrow and not Paypal.
You can always search for a broker to sell it for you.

  Yes Flippa might be the best option, but don't forget they get 29$ listing fee and take 15% success fee. So basically this means if the site sells for 500$ you would get only 396$.
  
  So perhaps you can first try to list it on some free or cheaper sites and see if you can get the amount you like to have and if that doesn't work out try to list it on flippa.

I have always heard of Flippa as being a really good site to sell websites and even Squidoo lenses! Now, I have not done it myself but I used to follow sales at some points and new blogs could go for quite a bit! Isn't there a section here on WF where you can sell sites? I am not sure!

Sitepoint is another place but it hasn't got as much clout as Flippa!

  You can sell Squidoo lenses, but not on Flippa. You can't sell a site that you don't own or broker and have access to upload the verification file.

You can try flippa.com, I believe it is the best website out there to buy and sell websites.

I have tried it before and I think it is a decent site.
