Always check Your Numbers
I always made the assumption that it was due to the traffic techniques I was doing for those inspirational videos. I am a little obsessive and check my adsense account almost everyday. This weekend, however, I decided to check the analytics within my actual YouTube Channels. What did I find?
All the work I was putting into my inspirational videos was netting me an average of $1-2 per 30 days. I was confused. Eventually, I decided to login to my old YouTube channel and check the stats there. WOW, so the increase in revenue was from these videos. Keep in mind, I have not uploaded a new stock market video in over a year.
What Did I learn:
1. Always check your stats (numbers)
2. My goals was to upload a bunch of videos now (work hard now), so that in 10 years, I would just have this passive income from videos that I could use for whatever I need. This concept has proven to be TRUE. Once you upload a video (with good content), it's there forever to make you money forever.
3. GET MY BEHIND BACK INTO THE STOCK MARKET NICHE, lol. I am not going to stop my inspirational video production, but I definitely need to get back to 1st passion of teaching others to invest in the stock market. I just felt for a bit that it was such a competitive niche that I needed to diversify.
