Adwords alternatives?

Adwords and I apparently don't get along very well. I'll save the details because I think my thread where I explained what happened was deleted, but I can't use them anymore.

What other options do I have? Doesn't google rule the PPC universe?

There are few good ones depending on your niche

    1. You tube ads - similar to Adwords, mainly fr video promotion
    2. Facebook ads - quite good but nt o much for IM niche
    3. Bing Ads - cheap but effective

    These are some I used.

Bing/Yahoo's Adcenter is better quality than Adwords, just converts better from my experience. But the only down side is there just isn't the volume like on Adwords. You can try exploring 2/3 tier search engines, but again it's volume and the lack of.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I didn't realize there were so many alternatives. I guess not being able to use adwords is not as big a deal as I thought. I am thankful, because I was really stressing out about it when I first posted.

Google certainly does not rule the pay per click market, as many marketers seem to think. There are actually at least 20 or 30 other big PPC networks that are all ripe for the picking.

However, many of them take a slightly different approach to create a high-converting, but that's something you'll have to test for yourself.

And of course, there are also PPV or CPM networks out there too.

It's not about quantity of ad networks, it's about quality. You can't buy buyers traffic off Facebook because they don't sell it. If someone buys something from traffic you gained off Facebook ads it's because you managed to close a lookie lou. You'll still pay premium prices for it, but it'll be dog crap in comparison to paid search.

I've never seen anybody yet close people at 10% for $50+ on Facebook, it just doesn't happen. The traffic on Facebook is junk in terms of buyers it's good for data collection and that's about it.

This gives me hope! I had bought paid traffic from facebook for a product of mine and didn't get any sales. I was thinking my sales page was terrible, but maybe I just need to try another traffic source. (Of course, my sales page could still be terrible, but at least I'll know it if I don't get any sales from another source! )

If your product or service allows always start with a source you know converts. Like Adwords, then it can only ever be you who's at fault. You've then just got to go through vigorous split testing, and see what your biggest competitors are doing.

Make sure you're only targeting buying phrases and people who need your product or service.

Also pre-qualify a click as much as possible. Include as much information in the ad copy as you can, like product name, price etc. Adding seller rating extensions so that reviews and stars appear under your ads, these all go into building big online businesses.

Most real online millionaires have never heard of 'solo ads' or that kind of rubbish. They have however heard of 'Adwords'.

Facebook ads are really effective in terms of cost and targeting...

I've heard the Bing advertising platform is pretty good.

You can do media buys also (buying banners or text links on other people's sites)

Lastly, you could do pop-ups or PPV

I think you can definitely try to use Facebook ads, because there is a good chance you will get high quality targeted traffic.

You can also try Bidvertiser ad.
