Enticing Clickbank sales with a bonus

Hi Guys and Gals,

I wondered if any of you had any experience with sending vistors from PPC traffic to a page that offered a bonus to the prospective buyer if they bought through your affiliate link and email you with the proof?

This is a marketing trick I found in a free report I like the idea of it but im not sure that it is suited to newbies such as myself.

The idea is to send traffic to a special page that offers a related bonus to the product they will be looking at in Clickbank and if they buy the product through your link they will need to send you email proof of confirmation before you send the bonus items over.

I just wondered if anybody had tried this type of set up before?

Thanks for your help

Stuart

    This definitely works.
The best results I've had are with a review/pre-sell page where you recommend the product but include some downside which makes the product ineffective, but your bonus can solve.
Also I find it best not to make your page too salesy.

      Thanks Guys,

Thats great, I will give this a go then and let you know my results.

It seemed like a good idea when I read it in the report I got but wondered if it was worth a shot and now I know I will give it a go!

      Thanks again

  • I think the script you may be thinking of is CB Bonus Domination:

If not, then I don't know what it is.

Anyways, It definitely works. Here's why:

You can build your list and help lock in sales. What I do is send it to a page that describes my bonus, and has an optin.

When they sign up, it redirects to my review/presell page where they can read my review. On this page I might remention my bonus, just to help reassure them to buy from me.

    It usually works pretty well.

And if you don't get their emails that way, then when they DO buy the prod, send them to a page where they have to optin to get their bonuses....

    That's it.

PS. When sending traffic to your bonus page via PPC, really it is best to send only traffic that is bidding on the keywords "product name bonus", because it is cheaper than "PN scam" or "p n review", and it's the most targeted.

    So use:
    product name bonus
    "product name bonus"
    [product name bonus]

I suppose it will also help with people who feel clickbank is ripping them off ( I don't use clickbank so no personal experience from this) as they will have to email you their confirmation to get the bonus you offer and that way you will know who has bought through your link and will know if it matches up with what clickbank say.

Adrian's product (above) automates the delivery i.e it sends out the bonus.

PS. ClickBank make the same profit whether it's an affiliate sale or not
so there is no question of 'ripping off'.

    Hi Stuart,

Yes, I've tried that using my latest software (CBListAutomator) to offer a valuable bonus to a killer offer.

    Results:
    1st mailout - 46.7% conversion
    2nd mailout - 25.3% conversion
    3rd mailout - 26.1% conversion

It automates the bonus delivery as well as builds my list of buyers (not freebie seekers) for me. See my WSO in the sig below.

    Best regards,
    Adrian
