Never buy 'traffic.' Buy targeted visitors instead. The more targeted they are, the better.

      This ^

If you focus on the quality of your traffic you can spend more for more visits and sales.

The amount of people I see sending hundreds of visits a day through PPV is amazing. Looks good through stats counter but if it is not making you money it is wasted money.

I have to agree with this 100%!

If the traffic is not targeted it is a waste of money. My guess is that you will not get any value out of your investment so why invest?

Traffic is important but only if it is targeted. Most people get hundred's of visitors without making a sale. Imagine "buying" untargeted traffic.

Like performanceman said - targeted is the key

Online advertising is an important part of driving sales, it takes time and experience however to nail a campaign with a positive ROI

    Tracking is the key

I would advice buying solo ads.

Also you will need a sees funnel so you can make some money back...reinvest again to build up your list...

I wouldn't buy anything from fiverr when it comes to targeted traffic Owen's advice is probably your best bet. Get on board with an excellent solo ad and make sure you have a funnel set up that recoups some of your money

EDIT: i would also stay away from ANY service that promised to send you "targeted traffic" for cheap. IE 1k targeted visitors for $5, etc etc. They are mostly garbage.

    Just my experience..

YES, what Matt says. Also do your due diligence wisely as far as solo ad providers go, watch out for the "Specials", "New Customer" incentives and such. If you can't find anything positive on them, don't be the nice guy and be the first to find out the hard way just to save a buck as you will end up losing more in the end. Yes, been there done that if you cant tell

Besides Adwords, PPC is effective for buying traffic. There are lot of PPC services.

It depends on your goals... your product?, CPA, list building, etc...

The trick is trial and tracking!... Wade through the garbage and find what works best for your goals and then scale up!

Another issue i have witnessed often is this... A lot of people i have spoken to have tried a new paid source... funded their account... set the settings to default and had no conversions.. They spend a quick 20 bucks and then call that traffic source "no good"....

Most paid traffic sources can be "dialed in" but it takes time, patience and unfortunately a bit of a test budget.

I have spent hundreds of dollars testing new sources, which some new marketers are unable to do...

Once you test a source, with the matching offer, and the matching creative/landing page, and the best time of the day, and the best keywords, and the best sites/url's... then you can determine the effectiveness of that source with that offer... You also cannot tell the effectiveness with only 20 clicks!..

I make a large amount of money buying traffic (PPC and PPV), but i usually have to spend a bit and test methodically to find the winning combination... but once this happens... you can SCALE UP and make a great profit!

PPC is effective but only if you take the time to construct a perfectly written Ad, using the most perfect keywords for your product or service.
Many people throw good money at a weakly constructed Google Adwords campaign, for example, and get disheartened and pull out of it.

One of the very first things I do when undertaking a digital marketing campaign for a client is analyze his current PPC campaign and straighten it out to maximize their ROI.

PPC is good too but you need to monitor closely on the campaign. Don't burn your money too fast. Always ROI

Buying active traffic is (or can be) worth it.

Buying chunks of traffic on the cheap such as Fiverr and traffic exchanges and other bulk/cheap traffic options normally convert like donkey doo doo

Learn how to drive traffic yourself...it's a skill you'll never regret learning

    Hello Asmtan

I wouldn't recommend buying traffic from anywhere because you don't know how targeted it will be as untargeted traffic is not only bad for your business but will also leave you out of pocket too.

My suggestion would be to instead invest in an online training course that teaches you How To successfully set up targeted ad campaigns on Google and Facebook etc. Then invest the profit you make back in to creating many more ad campaigns which will enable you to branch out further and make bigger profits from your business

buying traffic is great if you have a well converting offer, and get it from good sources like ppc and banners sol ads can be good but unless you know what your doing solos are a real crap shoot.

And I would stay away from fiverr traffic all together

You need to buy TARGETED traffic, not just traffic. Pay Per Click is the best way to get started. The big PPC networks are Google Adwords and Bing. However, Adwords is becoming very expensive nowadays. For cheaper clicks, you can try 2nd tier PPC advertising networks like 7search, Advertise.com and Adknowledge.com.

Stay away from Adfly and Fiverr. They offer huge amount of JUNK traffic that never converts.

Even buying targeted traffic can be hit or miss based on the niche. What it really takes is a little exploration of your niche to see what kind of advertising will work best. If you can generate conversions in your niche by paying for fiverr gigs, lucky you, do that! If not, try adwords and see where that leads you, then compare it to other services until you find what works best.

It doesn't really make sense to acquire traffic in this way because (in both cases) you're just buying statistics. You're not buying readers, customers or repeat visitors; what you're buying is a lie. You can then show the world your statistics and feel like a famous blogger - although you might want to turn off commenting, there aren't that many 150,000 visitor blogs that don't have any comments.

It really depends on your budget. Bigger budget allows you to test faster. If you have limited budget, like less than $200, you should start in solo ads, or buysellads with banner. I'd target banner ads to targeted sites if I have bigger budget. Of course you need to have a funnel setup before you drive massive traffic.

If you mean to say that if paid Traffic is worth or not then I would certainly say that it is indeed.

Google Ad-words is the great tool in this regard. Apart from Google Adwords there are other plenty of paid traffic method.

Sponsored Post campaign is one of the biggest successful campaign in paid traffic domain.

If you want highly targeted paid traffic, there are some tricks with PPC marketing you can use. Solo ads and media buys are very good forms of paid traffic. In regards to solo ads, check all the reviews for leads and conversions too see who has the best list of buyers.
I have heard great things about some solo ad services in the warriors for hire section.

If your product is worth promoting, then go for it. Generating a targeted traffic for free is really hard except for expert. You need time and knowledge, and you need to do trial and error, and you have to continue doing it until it works. So, if you have some capital, you should blow it on PPC, and keep trial and error until finding some that works.

Buying traffic and then converting them into paying customers is one of THE most important skills you can have and very few people are good at it.

If you can buy and convert traffic, you can basically write your own ticket from there, assuming your product/service is good of course.

Solo ads are good but I'd recommend the big 3: Google, Bing, and Facebook.
