ebay help tips info

I want to sell on ebay iam i have a individual account and was wondering how many items can i sell. also do i pay taxes on these items

    It depends on your account status. eBay regulates the amount a user can list on eBay now. Someone can not go from selling 25 items a month to having 1000 items listed. eBay tries to limit you to an amount you can actually sell at.

    Also, you should pay taxes. If you are using PayPal as your payment processor then they begin reporting at $2,000, I believe.

        Someone missed a zero here. Paypal will not report/send you a W2 until you've passed $20 000 - not $2000. I know because I read about it on Paypal.com, plus I received my first W2 from them a few days ago, as last year was my first year of hitting $20 000+ with them.

      This. I sold with ebay for many years and you must work on improving your status rankings and sells before you're able to get 1000 items listed for sale.

    When you start out with a fresh ebay account, they generally give you 10 listings per month. You can, however, call eBay up and request a higher limit - you just need to prepare a little, and know what to say.

    Some tips for increasing your limit:

    Make sure you have a Paypal VERIFIED account (it takes a couple of days) and you can also tell them that you're working with an eBay education specialist.

    In addition, make sure you have purchased a couple of items and have a feedback score to around 10.

    And, if you have sold an item or two, make sure you've received positive feedback from them as well.
