Question about Ezinearticles

I've never used Ezine before and I was going to register this week. My question is, is there a fee for Platinum Membership status? I've read their TOS and FAQ's but still can't seem to figure it out. I was under the assumption there were no fees?

Thanks,
Capone

Yes, Platinum membership requires fees. I believe its around 97$/month. The best part of this is your article will be approved within 24hrs

Sorry but that's not true. Platinum does not cost money. The premium fees are to have your articles reviewed faster and gives you faster response from the site.

I went from Expert to Platinum status after my 25th post. It's a free upgrade that they do after a certain post count or quality is achieved. I'm not really sure if what happened to me was normal, but I had emailed them a question about my account (once it hit the limit on my expert status), and they answered back complimenting my writing and upgraded me. I think I bypassed some other level, thanks to whomever took my email.

    Hope that helps.

They do have a $97 mo "Premium Service" but it is
not required to reach platinum status.

That's correct, it doesn't cost anything to reach platinum status. That was an easy mistake to make though. If you guys hadn't posted ahead of me I might have made that one myself and I've got a lot of articles there too. I should definitely know better. LOL

mmm..I was getting scared that Ezinearticles Platinum status was costing money now and I didn't know it (!)...but no, Platinum is as usual free, you just have to have a bunch of good articles with EZ....Premium will cost you $97 a month, but this is just to approve your articles faster...and this used to be free....I still remember those days when I could get an article approved in less than 24 hrs..........
