Would making game guides for kindle be good for specific games? I'm wondering if I should make some as I want to have some kindle books in the amazon market. Are video game strategy guides a good way to begin?

I think you might have a shot there. I searched for game guides in the kindle store and there are some that rank well and have some good sales. If you provide good and helpful content I don't see why you couldn't make it.

Maybe some guides for gadget specific games would be even better (Ex: Angry Birds Guide )...

Take a look at this kindle store category and try to find what works.

Thanks for the tip. I'm wondering how many pages my ebook should be? Any idea?

Well, don't write long guides if it's not necessary. People prefer quality over quantity. Try to write the guide without any fluff or filler-content and price it accordingly.

Also, I think it's a good idea to specify somewhere in the title or description that it's a short guide (this way you can avoid negative feedback).

P.S. I also think the length of the guide will differ depending on the topic. A 30 pages guide on Angry Bird is most definitely full of fluff. And a WOW guide of 15 pages is most likely a rip-off.

Another thing I was thinking if I could submit any guides ebooks I make also to itunes store. I have and itunes connect account £60 a year - I make publish apps - but can I also submit books without having to pay another £60 a year?

I think game guides would do pretty well, depending on the popularity of the game. I know that I've bought several Kindle game guides myself and would easily do so rather than spending $20 on a Brady Games book.

    Doubt everything you believe.

Game Guides should do great on the Kindle. Make sure to optimize the images you place in your book so they are the right mix of quality and file size.
