You can go share it at digitalpoint. A forum for all types of web development that allows you to post a site for sale as long as you have been a member for at least 14 days, do not have a reputation in the red and have a minimum of 25 posts throughout their boards.

I would sell it right here in the WarriorForum. Some other options include Flippa, Digitalpoint Forum, and the new site called ForumSpecialOffers.

Well, I'd go for Flippa! Always heard good things about them! I think Sitepoint have a section too but I am not 100% sure!

    The Warrior Forum, maybe?

It really depends on how your site is doing, whether you're making money, how old the domain is etc! So many variable and I think Flippa can help evaluate!

I heard a while back that sites like yours sell-- if they've made a some money and that you're able to show it-- at 13 times the monthly figure! It's something like this but there again, I am not a specialist!

I do remember seeing recently created sites with no sales going for pretty hefty sums! It had to do with the domain name and the unique content + some traffic!

    Good luck with everything!

How much does your site earn? If it earns $5K per month or more, contact a broker. That's what I would do. They have access to people who pay big bucks for quality sites. Brokers are only worth hiring if the sale price is high enough though because broker fees can be high.

Go for Flippa. What makes Flippa stand out from the pack is their trust and verification features, like phone number verification and verified Google Analytics traffic stats, which helps boost average selling prices.

Thought I would chime in here, I am staying far away from flippa now.
I have bought a few sites there and have been burned on all of them. The support there doesn't really seem to care either.
It is too easy to fake income screenshots.
The only thing I got of value was a domain name I purchased there.
It's too bad, because I like the idea of buying established websites.

Due diligence is very necessary with Flippa. I got burned in my early days there, but got a bit wiser. My best bargain so far was a site for $55 that has earned me close to $1000 in a few months. I have dumped a lot of sites I purchased but have kept those that have potential.

I agree with him.. Also there are many scammer buyer.. who just bid your auction but not really interested in your site and didn't pay your site.. And the flippa support was very bad..

Digital Point is the last resort option, imo. It's a tough sell there.

Flippa is good for selling autoblog sites and sometimes for established sites.

Ultimately, you should sell to your own client base if you have one. That's always been my biggest sales for my traffic sites.

Hey Guys, i just launched a new site called www.sitebidders.com almost exactly like Flippa but no success fees and while in beta posting is just $1 for the first 60 days, we are coming in with more features then Flippa.

Now Flippa is great and you can get burned on the revenue streams, the thing is you can get burned on the warrior forum and on click bank, and on Craigslist.

Also i am looking for a promoter for my new site if anyone knows someone that can get the word out.

$1 come try me out. I'm excited because i just launched today

  • Hi I would try listing on Afternic.com they list your domains on multiple site and are super easy to use. I am not 100% sure as I am brand new to this industry as well. I just recently spent a ton of money buying domain names to resell. I currently own these domains and was wondering if you could give me an idea of what they are worth. I currently have the domains listed on buydomains.com and a few other sites for $250 each because its the lowest I can list them for and I need some sales. If you could help me out with the value that would be great.

    These are the names:
    AdultRates.com
    Cassieco.com
    ActMatch.com
    AdviceBaby.com
    APlusGrades.com
    JobsCounty.com
    CanadianBilling.com
    CarrierFood.com
    CampOvers.com
    CaringU.com

    Thanks for your help

Depending on how much money the site pulls in, you may want to go with a business broker that specializes in online businesses. For my more bigger money makers, I use Quiet Light rather than Flippa. They have huge mailing lists of people waiting for new businesses to come up for sale. The last site I sold with them, I received 3 offers and got my full asking price.

I had asked the same question yesterday but apparently my thread was deleted. I have a couple of sites that I need to sell asap.. one of which was created by none other than Kate Anderson here on the WF. I paid $500 for that one (on Flippa) and had some new graphics done and the ebook updated but I don't see how I can get my investment back unless someone who knows Kate and the quality of work she does buys it. Does anyone here have any ideas on the subject? I have to move this month and I honestly don't have the $25 at the moment to sell it on the WF or I might give it a shot, and I definitely don't want to go to Flippa because I'd have to list it as a new site because it isn't making sales or getting traffic. And btw.. they are having a half off sale today only on website listings.

Flippa can be pretty good even for sites without much (or any) income. There's a lot of buyers on there that want to run a website, but don't want to endure the development process. Obviously without any income you'll have to maximize the bid potential by having a great design and quality content.

Sites like Flippa, Digital Point & the Warrior Forum are great places to sell your site. You can also google something like "Where to sell websites online" (you get the point) & carefully review the results for other possible options besides the usual suspects.

I tried selling a site on Flippa. I was pretty disappointed - the bidders were low quality and I didn't make my reserve. Also 75% of the emails I got were from timewasters who couldn't be bothered to read my auction details.

I guess my mistake was to try and sell a site that didn't have a proven source of revenue.

But if I was selling another site in the IM niche, I'd definitely try selling it on the WF first.
