Im reading this one as we speak. This book is a must.Even though it is geared mostly to offline, the principles and theory still remains the same to online copywriting.

I heard many good things about Dan and his book.

I would get that first and take his advice.

One of the best educations you can get in writing good sales copy is by immersing yourself in good sales copy. Get into the habit of reading sales pages -- good and bad. You'll pick things up faster than you think.

I'd imagine it's good if you're still reading it and also if you want to buy it. You don't need to be a director to know if a movie is good.

I second that. When I used to mentor people, that was the first request I made of them.
I also used it as a filter - I'd drop anyone not willing to get a book and educate themselves on the fundamentals.

I read The Ultimate Sales Letter and loved it. I still suck at copywriting though.
