Whois Guard for .co.uk domains

Does anyone know of a company that can offer a whois guard for .co.uk domains?

Without it it the only way I can stop my competitors knowing all the sites registered to me is to make up lots of fake names.

Will it work for company-registered domains, or only private registrations?
      Thanks.

      Do you mean namecheap.com?

Namecheap.co.uk leads to a dead site (for me) and whois says it's owned by someone in my old home town.

If you mean namecheap.com, I use them and it used to allow me to attach whoisguard to my .co.uk's but about a year ago, it stopped allowing me to.

According to the Nominet T&C (Nominet is the registry for .uk domain names), the only way you can have a whois opt-out for a .uk domain is if you're a consumer (i.e. non-trading individual). You 'can' make up a load of fake names, but then they can just as easily cancel any domain if they find out (section 16 in the T&C).

Yeah, nominet say that even if you are an individual you got to have name visible. This makes it easy for anyone with domain tools to uncover all of your niche domains.

going .com helps but for what I'm doing I 100% need to have .co.uk's

Roger (ExRat) is right, Namecheap.com stopped allowing whoisguard to used with co.uk domains because of registry restrictions.

    This is on their site:
"Due to registry restriction WhoisGuard can be used with biz,bz,cc,cn,com,com.cn,in,info,mobi,net,net.cn,nu ,org, org.cn,tv and ws domains"

... er, my own view with regard to co.uk domains is to register .com - unless I'm buying a pre-owned co.uk, that is.

Assuming you have reseller hosting for all these domains, you could try trading space with a different reseller so that your domains are not hosted on the same reseller account or buy a different web hosting account to conceal some of the domains.

Other than that, unless your contact information is always the same on each web site, I can't figure out how your competitors are finding you. You can always cover your tracks at that stage.

By the way, I'm curious. When I check whois.domaintools.com for co.uk domains, it will reveal the published information. I haven't seen anything which reveals the co.uk domains hosted on individual servers. I'd love to see how you get this information.

      Cheers

Yes, no such thing as namecheap.co.uk and namecheap.com can't do whois guard on uk domains. I'm taking my love back dude

I guess I will just have to think up 100 ways to mispell my name.
