    It's not exactly black hat but it's definitely not something I would want to put my name to. If the best way you can think of making money online is by tricking people to hop through an affiliate link I think you're in the wrong business.

    Yeah you can promote your penny auction sites. But why not try doing it honestly? You could do some creative video of, people opening up xbox consoles they got for $1.59 etc There's much more genuine ways to go about this promotion that have a compounding effect rather than having to rinse and repeat tricking 1 sucker after another.

    You should try it, but also have in mind that
    people will buy from you when they like and trust you.
