So What's The Best Way To Get Traffic?

Hey guys..

OK so I wanted to hear from some of the gurus in the forum on the best way to get traffic.

Yeah I know that there are a million ways. But which kind of traffic converts the best?

My experience has been that adwords produced the best conversions for me..at least for review pages that link to an affiliate site. I always track everything so I know this converts.

I've received tons of traffic from articles and my blogs and my youtube vids...however..they seem to be the more lookie-loo types...and don't convert as well as the google searcher.

Maybe that's why google still makes so much freakin money...because adwords works and there are many people out there making a killing setting up ads that go to their webpages.

Your thoughts?

I love PPC because it is so lazer targeted and if you have a good backend marketing system you can get your leads for free.

Also Social media is a great way to generate traffic, although this takes a while the end results can be great.... if done correctly.

Social media traffic is great but i found it never quite converted as well as organic or ppc traffic. So whilst in itself its really pretty good...dont leverage your whole traffic strategy on social media etc

In many ways I view PPC as gambling. Yes, it is laser targeted but there is just soooo much competition for just about everything I find myself watching the damn thing almost like a stock ticker in fear I'm gonna get loads of clicks with no conversions.

It is definitely a numbers game and you NEED money to make money with PPC.

90% of the traffic to all my websites is organic from google.

If you cant get high in the search engines then pay for it

The best way to get traffic:

1. Have a product worth sending traffic to
2. Give others an incentive to recommend your product to their existing traffic

Search Engines are the best in the long run, however, it takes time to become an known in the search engines and be able to rank well.
