Need some help and advice on making money online

My problem that I need to solve is twofold:
One: I am very very confused by all what I have been mailed,
so many programs, niches, software, all touting their ability to make money for me, many of which I don't understand how that could be. I have lost thousands of USDs in the past 2 years I looked online buying things that never worked (maybe I am a dunce after all) and am looking to make money fast to basically make up for the losses and also to increase my "seed money" for future business investments into what is necessary to improve the cashflow of my businesses online. I don't really have much money to spend anymore and since I have just retired, I need every penny I can earn for living expenses as well. Two: I have some very simple online store sites I made up myself which make some sales but not really enough to be called a business, and is in dire need of quality traffic who will buy. Can anyone suggest some viable and workable solutions as to how and where to start so that I can have a realistic model to work on? I don't mind product recommendations I can look over but I will need some advice as to what anything can do to make me money and how they work in detail. Thank you very much in advance (pretty desperate here)

    I understand your situation.
    I been through that myself.

    Let's see what you have

    1. You have a few online stores. Not making enough and not enough traffic.
    You can run some PPC to them. Focus on the one that is converting. Gather your $$ power on these only. Some other methods: forum commenting, etc
    2. I presume you can do some website development/design. You can offer your services in elance, Fiverr, or even in WF. These should generate some incomes.
    3. Stop buying the WSOs for the time being. I am sure you have accumulate vast knowledge over time. Now is the time to put your knowledge in ACTIONS!!

    I know how u feel... been online for several years myself but only started to make real money in the last 6 months...my advice...find a Mentor that you can trust and follow. Make sure he/she is contactable...communication very important and ask them questions until you 'get it' then TAKE ACTION and things will start to happen! All the best!

    My advice would be read everything related to marketing and making money online. Do not buy into the hype of buying the next big ebook/course/plugin that promises to bring X amount of money

    When you pick a method stick to it for a few months minimum - do not be tempted to jump to another niche because you are seeing minimal results

    It takes a lot of hard work to achieve success online, but its worth the effort!

      Since you already have sites, you are familiar with the process of website building, order fulfilling, product acquisition and some customer service so you have already accomplished a lot.

      Now you need traffic--my suggestions is to research every topic on getting traffic and learn all the methods possible, both pro and con, until you are ready to experiment. Don't buy any program with a recurring payment or a large fee. You can learn a lot from free forums and $7 and $30 basic programs. Internet marketers will teach you so very much for free, with the idea that once you want to know more, they will have a product to sell to you. Take advantage of this free learning opportunity. Free ebooks on the subject of traffic are everywhere. Teach yourself and experiment. Failure leads to success IF you don't stop trying.

      As for for quick money, compare it to the "overnight sensation" in the music industry (who took many years to get to that "overnight" success)....no money is quick (unless you rob a bank :-). Educate yourself, be patient and persevere.
