Hi i Just had a question about duplicate content for video....can duplicate content kill your chance of ranking your video in google?...Thank you

    If you change your videos size,title & description than i don't think you have an issue to rank it in google...
    There are so many marketers on youtube who download video from youtube edit it and change title and upload to promote their product and they are doing well though.

    No. Videos use different variables compared to websites. Of course, you shouldn't recycle others' videos due to copyright issues you'll face.

      Try breaking down your videos into smaller segments and then make people subscribe to your channel to see the rest. This way you avoid duplicate content.

    Duplicate content will not affect google ranking. Google don't penalize on Syndication if you are broadcasting your videos in the internet world. This is different from spamming backlinks to your money site.

    For example, you created a crap 30 sec video that provide no value to the viewers. Your bounce-off rate is very high(around 3-5 sec), Google will know about this. This will in turn affect your ranking. Worse still, you upload the video to lots of video directories.

    My take: It is important to broadcast your video to as many as directories as possible, providing values to the viewers. Remember Gandam Style?? Every video directories have video on that. It went on to be the most viewed video in 2012.. Get it??
