Monthly Reoccurring Income?

I need your opinion:

What is the BEST online/offline venture someone can get into to create a monthly reoccurring income?

I have been in 'project' mode for so long that I'm sick of the 'Revenue Roller Coaster'. Sell a project, build a project, get paid for the project.

I'd like to get into something online/offline that will pay monthly reoccurring payments that I can sell anywhere.

What do you think is the BEST option?

      If you have something to teach a membership site based around WordPress / magic members or wishlist is always a good combination. You have to be a passionate teacher to sustain a membership model though, so bear this in mind when looking for the right business model.

    Most recurring commission programs can't be mentioned in this forum without inciting a witch hunt. I really like the multi-level recurring model, but programs like these become so wildly popular that too many spammers are promoting them, and the programs end up with stigmas like "pyramid scheme."

    You do well to get involved with programs like these, IMHO.

    If you have a flair for sales copy you could try your hand at selling products for affiliates. While many people take the seedy route of selling diet pills and penis enlargement products, if you want to keep your conscience clear you’ll find that Amazon runs a very successful affiliate program that allows you to make money advertising any of the products for sale on their site. eBay also have a pretty good affiliate setup, with their top affiliates earning $1.3 Million a month, WOW!

    It sounds as if you need a system that can reliably sell a certain amount of units each month. You need to get into a product that is consumed as it is used.

    You can have a passive income selling water, food, soap, fuel, things like that. The income would be passive in that you would not be out creating a new product, but you would only be managing a sales process that you would have already set up at some point in the past.

    I have done two things to increase my recurring revenue this year...

    1) started a membership site
    2) promote more recurring commission products as an affiliate

    Membership sites are a great way to start building your passive income portfolio. It has already made a big difference in my 2013 earnings and I just started implementing this seriously in November of 2012.
